Forever PvP ranks
Forever keeps all fourteen rank names exactly as vanilla wrote them, and replaces the machinery underneath. The old weekly standing formula is gone: rank is now a renown track that sits in your reputation pane as PvP Rank Points, bought with Rank Points, and every rank hands you a named unlock. None of this was readable in Classic's tables — five of the tables it comes from do not exist in the Classic Era client at all.
Two purses, two jobs
Honor and rank are no longer the same number. Both descriptions below are the client's own words.
Honor Points
Honor is gained by killing members of the opposite faction in PvP combat. You can use honor points to purchase special items.
Rank Points
Rank points are gained by completing tasks given in Gadgetzan or participating in battlegrounds. Rank points increase your PvP Rank which grants you access to purchase special items.
The fourteen ranks
Cost is what the client's threshold curve lists against each rank, drawn to one scale. Ranks marked ★ also pay a Legacy Point. The unlock is the client's own wording and carries no item id; Forever's own sets sit at ranks 10 and 13; the pieces shown at other ranks are Classic's old gates, which Forever has not rewritten and which no longer match what the rank unlocks.

Vanilla's percentile race is gone
Vanilla put the epic PvP set behind a standing grind at the top two ranks, where what you got depended on how the rest of the server played. Forever hands the set out slot by slot from rank 8 to rank 13, and saves rank 14 for weapons — 8 pieces across 5 ranks, with nobody to race for them.

Confirmed on the beta Curve 103650 lists the cost of each rank, not a running total. Settled on the beta, not inferred. At rank 0 the game's own renown data reads "0 of 750 toward the next", and 750 is exactly what curve 103650 lists against rank 1. So each point on the curve is that rank's price. Faction 2800's ReputationMax_0 of 20000 still matches neither the per-rank sum (24750) nor any single threshold, and remains unexplained.
The sets, class by class
Forever built its own sets rather than reusing Classic’s: 60 sets, 359 pieces, Alliance and Horde at ranks 10 and 13 — including the paladin and shaman sets vanilla never made, because it locked those two classes to one side each.

The cap opens in steps
The rank counter carries a curve that caps how high anyone can climb. It rises in 11 steps from a standing start and only reaches 14 at the end, so the top rank is not available at the start however hard you play.
What a live character reads
A table cannot report the cap in force right now, so this comes from the beta on 2026-09-19, a level 12 character with no PvP history. Caps are reported whether or not any is held.
- Honor Points cap 15,000 no weekly limit
- Rank Points no cap reported no weekly limit
- Renown - PvP Rank no cap reported no weekly limit
- Renown - Legacy Rank cap 90 no weekly limit
The two rank counters settle it between them. Renown - Legacy Rank has a table maximum and no curve, and the game reports that maximum. PvP Rank (3473) has a table maximum of 14 and the curve — and the game reports 0. So the curve overrides the table, and where it stands now it allows no rank at all. The same read gives the track as rank 0, 0 of 750 toward the next.
Partly confirmed on the beta Curve 102601 gates the reachable rank, and right now it is holding it at 0. The curve is live, which the beta showed: currency 3485 (Renown - Legacy Rank) has a table MaxQty of 90 and no curve, and the game reports 90. Currency 3473 (Renown - PvP Rank) has a table MaxQty of 14 and this curve, and the game reports no cap at all rather than 14 — so the curve overrides the table, and at the position it is at now it yields 0, the curve's own first point. The rank ladder is therefore shut at the time of reading, two days after the beta opened on 2026-09-17. What the axis counts is still unread: eleven steps rising 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14, with three achievements describing a Field of Honor Journey at Week 4, Week 7 and Week 10. Time fits; level, phase and season are not ruled out. What would settle it: Read the cap on currency 3473 again in a later week. A cap that has risen off 0 settles the axis as time; a cap that moves when the character levels instead points at level.
PvP pays the Legacy Tree
Achievements are new in Forever, and most of them read “Earn 1 Legacy Point.” PvP is one of the accounts that pays into the Legacy Tree.

Counted once, not twice. Every Forever achievement exists twice: ids 62000-63342 with Flags 134349824 (49 rows) and 63969-64033 with Flags 268567552 (65 rows), duplicating each other title for title — 49 of the 95 distinct titles. Nothing in Achievement, Criteria, CriteriaTree or ModifierTree says which set a character earns; realm type (the site already derives a Hardcore variant elsewhere) is the obvious guess and nothing more. The lower range is taken as canonical so each achievement is listed once, and the count is stated as per set, never doubled. What would settle it: On the beta, open the achievement pane on a normal realm and read the id of any 'Rank 3' row. If it is 62041 the lower range is the live one; 64021 means the upper.
The item gates are moving onto the track
On this schema an item states its rank requirement in its own row. These 10 carried one in Classic and carry none in Forever, because the ladder above hands them out instead. Nothing anywhere gained a gate.

What the client cannot tell us
- What Honor Points and Rank Points buy, and at what price. No vendor inventory exists in the client, and the beta log has not reached the Gadgetzan vendors yet.
- The Gadgetzan tasks the Rank Points description names. No quest in the client's cache mentions Gadgetzan, honor, rank points or battlegrounds.
- Which items the Elite wrist, waist, boot, glove, leg, shoulder, chest and helm upgrades resolve to.
- Honor per kill, diminishing returns, and whether the Field of Honor weeks are calendar weeks or count from each character's start.
Read from the Forever client build 1.60.1.69893 and the WFT Beta Log addon, 19 September 2026, compared against Classic Era build 1.15.9.69722. The rank ladder is derived from the client's title, currency, renown reward and curve tables and checked against the client's own achievement wording; vendor prices and anything the server decides are not here and are not filled in from anywhere else.
