WoW Forever Talents

The WoW Forever talent calculator: pick a class, spend your 51 points and copy the link. Talents, abilities, racials, professions, reputations, dungeons and raids are read from Forever client build 1.60.1.70532, checked against it on 23 October 2026, with everything new or changed from Classic marked. Quests are server-side, so those come from the beta server answering a running client.

What Forever changes about talents

Forever keeps the vanilla shape (three trees per class, 51 points, five points to open each row) and rewrites what sits inside them. Across 27 trees and 466 talents, 114 are new and 278 were rewritten; the other 74 match Classic Era word for word, and 79 Classic talents are not in the Forever trees at all. Druid has been touched hardest: only 5 of its 52 talents read as they did in Classic, and 8 more of its Classic talents are gone from the trees.

How to use the WoW Forever talent calculator

Pick a class, then click a talent to put a point in it and right-click to take one back. A row only opens once five points sit in that tree, so the deep talents cost you the shallow ones. The point counter per tree and the total are always on screen, and the address bar rewrites itself as you spend, so the link in your bar is the build you are looking at. Copy it and it opens exactly as you left it. Tick Private build before you share if you would rather it were never listed or counted.

Comparing Forever talents with Classic

Every talent is marked by what the comparison found: new in Forever, rewritten, or identical to Classic Era word for word. Turn on Show original Classic and the Classic Era wording appears underneath each changed talent, rank for rank, so a rank 1 reading is never held up against a rank 5 one. The tree itself never changes: you are always looking at Forever, with Classic shown for reference.

Common questions

How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?
A character can spend 51 talent points at level 60, the same total as Classic Era, across the three trees. Each row of a tree needs five points in that tree before it opens.
How many talents changed from Classic in WoW Forever?
392 of the 466 talents differ: 114 are new and 278 were rewritten. The other 74 read identically in the Forever client and in Classic Era.
Which class changed the most in WoW Forever?
Druid. 47 of its 52 talents are new or changed, leaving only 5 untouched.
Are the WoW Forever talent trees final?
They are the beta trees, read from the Forever client itself rather than from footage. Beta runs 17 September to 21 October 2026, so Blizzard can still retune them; the dataset is rebuilt from each new client build and whatever moves is listed on the beta changes page.
Can I share a WoW Forever talent build?
Yes. The address bar updates as you spend points, so copying the URL shares the exact build. Private builds are never listed or counted.

Where the data comes from

Every tree and spellbook here is read from the Forever client itself, build 1.60.1.70532, the beta build Blizzard published, and set beside the Classic Era client tables (build 1.15.9.69722), the vanilla foundation Forever is built on. Where the two differ the talent or spell is marked, and the Classic wording is one toggle away.

Nothing here is guessed from patch notes or copied from another site. Before the client existed the trees were transcribed from BlizzCon 2026 footage; that record is kept, and the beta changes page lists what the client did differently. Beta runs 17 September to 21 October 2026; the dataset is rebuilt from each new client build and anything that shifts is listed rather than quietly edited.
