Return of the Ring
Level 34 · can be taken from level 28 · Dungeon quest in Gnomeregan · Horde · started by an item · also in Classic Era · All Forever quests →
This quest starts from an item, not from a quest giver:
You may either keep the ring, or you may find the person responsible for the imprint and engravings on the inside of the band.
Objectives
- Brilliant Gold Ring
It sends you into Gnomeregan: 5 players · Group Finder level 25 · enter from level 19.
Description
Opening the box produced by the Sparklematic 5200 reveals a shiny ring! Donning the ring, you feel magic power surge through your body.
Inside the band is a small but nonetheless discernable imprint of the seal of Orgrimmar. Engraved letters are next to it, but only the first three stand out even after cleaning: "NOG..."
This may signify either the initials of the previous owner, or perhaps the initials of the ring's crafter. Keep the ring... or find "NOG" - decisions, decisions...

Read from the World of Warcraft: Forever beta: the quest's own text, level, objectives and rewards come from the quest cache the beta client writes, the item names, icons and qualities from the client's tables, and the two ends of the quest from the quest's own wording where it names them, with the title under the name where the creature cache knows it, or from the beta log, with the spot on the map, where the game has shown the hand-over. 145 quests have a page here so far.
